Why We Built This Site
Public access in South Carolina depends on the record and its custodian. Aiken County Sheriff's Office maintains its reports and current detention information. The General Sessions clerk and the summary courts hold charges, docket events, and outcomes. SLED operates CATCH and the South Carolina Public Sex Offender Registry (SORT), while the South Carolina Department of Corrections handles state-prison custody. We arrange the verified contacts, fees, search routes, and request steps without merging those distinct official records into a single product.

An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the sheriff, the correct court clerk, or SLED. This resource can identify that route but cannot supply the record.
